Professor Koen Dewettinck has been CEO of Great Place To Work^® Belgium since 2024. Koen is an expert in helping organisations boost employee engagement and performance. For over 20 years, he has been advising organisations on employee performance, corporate culture and fostering a team environment. Koen is a professor of Human Resource Management and a partner at Vlerick Business School. He obtained his PhD in Applied Economic Sciences from Ghent University and was a research fellow at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Koen heads Vlerick’s Centre for Excellence in Strategic Talent Management  (sTm), whose mission is to research every aspect of employee development and performance. In his spare time, Koen is an avid musician who loves spending time with his friends and family.
